To accurately grasp the pulse of industrial innovation and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of enterprises, recently, Hu Huaneng, General Manager of Zoner, was invited to join a three-day thematic study tour titled "Cross-Border Insights, Collaborative Learning for Distant Horizons" in Shenzhen — a frontier of reform and opening-up — as part of Xiamen's "Specialized, Refined, Characteristic and Novel" (Zhuan Jing Te Xin) Enterprise Study Group. From the digital practices of fintech to the ecological layout of tech giants, from the endogenous driving force of cultural innovation to the blue ocean opportunities in the low-altitude economy, General Manager Hu consistently absorbed benchmark experiences in an immersive manner from the perspective of a manager deeply rooted in the instrumentation industry, exploring ideas for Zoner's development direction and strategic layout.

On the afternoon of September 17th, the study group kicked off their journey at the Ping An Finance Center in Shenzhen. General Manager Hu's attention was immediately focused on the in-depth integration of technology and enterprise management. At the Ping An Technology Exhibition Hall, from the AI-driven operation system to the blockchain-supported service processes, he listened attentively and took notes, focusing on how Ping An optimizes management efficiency and improves service quality through technological means — content that highly aligns with Zoner's ongoing "management efficiency upgrade" initiatives.
"Ping An implements technology into every management link. This logic of 'technology serving practical needs' is worthy of our in-depth consideration," General Manager Hu shared with fellow entrepreneurs during a break in the visit. Currently, Zoner is facing the task of optimizing management processes, and Ping An's "data-driven decision-making" approach has provided a new reference for the enterprise.
At the subsequent opening ceremony and thematic exchange, when Cui Fei, Deputy General Manager of Ping An Property & Casualty Insurance Xiamen Branch, shared experiences on "enterprise innovation transformation and resource integration," General Manager Hu took the initiative to raise questions: "When small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises promote management upgrades, how can they avoid formalization and ensure implementation results? What are the key methods for Ping An to infiltrate team concepts?" The Ping An team's response — "hierarchical training + scenario-based practice" — resonated with him, prompting him to mark key points in his notebook with frequent nods of approval.
In the evening, standing on the cloud-top of the Ping An Finance Center overlooking Shenzhen's technological innovation landscape, General Manager Hu reflected deeply: "The core of enterprise development is not how advanced the technology is, but whether it can solve practical problems. Zoner's next phase of management upgrading must closely align with production and team needs, taking a pragmatic path."
The following day, General Manager Hu shifted the focus of his study to "enterprise ecosystem construction and cultural cultivation," visiting two major tech benchmarks — Huawei and DJI.
At Huawei's HarmonyOS Ecosystem Innovation Center and Kunpeng Industry Source Innovation Center, the open-source ecosystem layout and cross-field collaborative development concepts explained by Huawei experts caught General Manager Hu's attention. He paid special attention to how Huawei connects upstream and downstream resources and achieves win-win outcomes through ecosystem building, admitting during the exchange: "In the past, we always focused on 'making our own products well.' Huawei has made me realize that the instrumentation industry also needs an ecosystem mindset, shifting from 'single product supply' to 'scenario-based value services.'" This insight gave him a clearer understanding of Zoner's development positioning.

On the afternoon of the same day, the group visited the DJI Innovation Experience Center. DJI’s corporate culture of “Inspire the Future, Pursue Truth and Integrity” resonated strongly with General Manager Hu. After learning about DJI’s journey from starting in a niche market to growing into a global benchmark by upholding its original aspiration for technology, he sighed with emotion: “Having been deeply engaged in the instrument industry for many years, what ZONER needs most is this spirit of ‘focusing on excellence and remaining humble and steady’. An enterprise’s scale can expand steadily, but there must be no slack in the pursuit of quality.” In the product exhibition area, he focused on observing DJI’s innovation and iteration rhythm as well as its approach to grasping user needs, reflecting on how to integrate this “user-centric” concept into ZONER’s development.

On the third day, the study group’s final stop was the Eastern General Aviation Base. With his keen industry insight, General Manager Hu seized development opportunities in emerging industries. During the visit to the helicopter operation and maintenance center and exhibition hall, he paid particular attention to the industrial layout and development logic of the low-altitude economy, asking in detail how Eastern General Aviation entered the market from segmented scenarios and gradually expanded its market space.
"Behind every emerging industry lies new opportunities for traditional industries," General Manager Hu said after the flight experience. The rise of the low-altitude economy will inevitably drive the development of related supporting industries. Zoner needs to maintain attention to such new fields and proactively explore the integration points between its products and emerging scenarios. He emphasized that enterprises must not be limited to existing markets but should take the initiative to look beyond the industry to grasp future trends.
At the study summary meeting, General Manager Hu shared his core gains: "Ping An’s management experience has addressed Zoner’s question of 'how to upgrade pragmatically'; Huawei’s ecosystem concept has opened up ideas for 'how to broaden our perspective'; DJI’s cultural spirit has strengthened our belief in 'how to uphold our original aspiration'; and Eastern General Aviation has taught us 'how to discover new opportunities'."

This study tour to Shenzhen was not only a journey of expanding horizons for General Manager Hu but also a journey of strategic calibration. In the future, relying on the benchmark experiences he brought back, Zoner will optimize processes and improve efficiency in management, cultivate a focused and pragmatic corporate culture in terms of philosophy, and maintain sensitivity to emerging fields in development. General Manager Hu stated: "The value of study lies in transformation. Zoner will integrate the learned experiences into enterprise development practices, and take a more stable and farther path in the 'specialized, refined, characteristic and novel' development of the instrumentation industry."
